TL;DRThere is no single “best” app-growth stack. The right tool depends on the bottleneck you are in right now — research, shipping, monetization, creator sourcing, automation, or compounding channels. Most founders buy scaling tools too early; the interviews say to sequence them: prove demand → ship fast → make the funnel convert → source creators → automate only after a format works.

What stages matter

The guide

Stage 1: Research demand and creative angles.

Stage 2: Design and ship the MVP.

Stage 3: Install monetization and measurement before chasing scale.

Stage 4: Source creators and build UGC supply.

Stage 5: Manage formats and creator performance.

Stage 6: Produce AI or faceless content cheaply.

Stage 7: Multiply posting volume only after a format works.

  • Use Noise when the winning format is slideshow-friendly and you want cheap, broad creator distribution at CPM economics; Kyle Fowler and Mori both used it as a scale layer, not as a starting point (kyle-fowler-aso-tiktok-slideshows, pingo-500k-creator-vc-model).
  • Use Double Speed or phone-farm-style stacks only if you accept real platform risk and you already know the hook converts; Zuhair’s whole pitch is that owning creation + posting closes the data loop, but the wiki’s own synthesis flags the tactic as gray-hat and fragile (ai-content-phone-farms-zuhair, distribution-automation).
  • Use comment systems as distribution too. Nick and Ivan’s phone-farm operation was built around comments as cold-email-style traffic, not just posting more videos (mass-instagram-commenting).

Stage 8: Add compounding channels so UGC is not your only oxygen.

The caveat: most tools are downstream of strategy.

  • Posted does not fix weak hooks.
  • Noise does not fix a non-repeatable format.
  • Superwall does not fix weak intent.
  • Double Speed does not fix garbage creative.
  • The interviews consistently say sequencing beats tooling.

Do this, not that:

  • Use research tools before creator tools — don’t buy distribution before you know the angle.
  • Install RevenueCat/Superwall before chasing scale — don’t pour traffic into a leaky paywall.
  • Start with creators or manual editing before AI automation — don’t automate an unproven format.
  • Use Noise/Double Speed only after you have a working format — don’t confuse volume with signal.
  • Add ASO/SEO/PLG once the funnel converts — don’t stay trapped in pure short-form arbitrage forever.
