TL;DR

Steven Cravotta demos an AI design workflow with UX Pilot that produces full app screens in minutes — a faster, cheaper complement to (or replacement for) his usual 99designs route. Prompt + competitor reference screenshots → generated UI → export to Figma for final tweaks → hand to a vibe-coding tool or developer.

The workflow

  1. Pick the screen you need (he builds a social-proof onboarding screen for Posted).
  2. Set context — screenshot existing/competitor screens, ask ChatGPT to write “design context” for UX Pilot so the new screen matches your theme.
  3. Pull reference images — from ScreensDesign or competitor apps; UX Pilot can near-replicate a referenced screen.
  4. Generate a hi-fi mobile screen; iterate with different references.
  5. Export to Figma via the UX Pilot plugin — every element is editable; fix the small misses (app icon, button placement).
  6. Feed the Figma into a vibe-coding tool or send to your developer to implement.

Why it matters

  • Collapses the design phase from days to minutes; pairs with his no-code build stack. ScreensDesign also doubles as competitor research.
