not quite sure how you’re going to take it to Market and get hundreds of thousands of users and I get it I’ve been there marketing is by far the toughest challenge when it comes to building an app or any SAS business but luckily for you I’ve grinded up for over 2 years marketing my mobile app marketing my SAS I have tried everything and I’ve broken it down into a simple four-step process that you can literally copy to Market your project this exact process allowed me to scale my mobile app to over 30,000 if you watch this video all the way through until the end I guarantee that you will have the skills and knowledge to Market your mobile app your SAS whatever product you have and get results like mine this video is part two in the series in part one I showed you exactly how I build mobile me motivated to make more content just like this so with that being said let’s get into it before we jump into things I just want to show proof here show that I’m not capping uh we have indeed done 1,000 per day on average um and then you can see the last 90 here we have done close to 30,000 a month we have a Tik Tok account that has 120,000 followers we’ve been making content on this page for close to two years now as you can see we’ve developed a great formula these videos are consistently getting above 10 20,000 views some of these you know 5.1 million here 1.3 million here 7.6 million here and this may look overwhelming to you and you might be like hey I don’t even know where to start on Tik Tok I’m telling you it is so much easier than you could possibly think my my entire success on Tik Tok all comes down to one thing and one thing only and that is market research I’m going to show you exactly how you can do market research how you can look up your Niche and your keywords on Tik Tok see the videos that are going the most viral in those niches within those keywords and then all you have to do is really replicate those styles to win so what you’re going to do is open your phone go to Tik Tok go to the search my Niche is quit vaping right vaping is a weird keyword on Tik Tok Tik Tok doesn’t like that keyword very much so I’m going I’m going to type in quit puff and then what I’m going to do is tap the to the three dots in the top right go to filters sort by light count video category all date posted all and then hit apply and what this will do is it will show you the most liked videos within this keyword of all time so you’re going to scroll through here pick 25 to 50 videos that you like that you think you can recreate that have a ton of likes throw them into a spreadsheet and analyze these videos understand what they’re doing well in their hook how are they capturing attention in the first three seconds What’s the storyline how are they presenting their product with a call to action study this and then after you study the top 50 videos you’ll understand Trends and you’ll understand what type of content goes viral within your Niche this is your market research this is exactly what I did to build my Tik Tok account to 120,000 followers 50 million views this is all I did I did market research I understood what was going viral on Tik Tok and I made more of that content for my audience for example I saw that public interviews were going extremely extremely viral on Tik Tok so that’s exactly what I did right I made public interviews for my app for my content and I started posting those there’s also simple videos you don’t have to be in public interviewing people your videos don’t have to be super complex a lot of these I just built in my apartment like for example this video I found this format through exactly what I just told you market research I saw a girl doing this quitting vaping dropping her Vape in a cup of water and I recreated the video myself and it absolutely crushed it got 21,000 views and probably a couple thousand downloads here this is where you want to start in marketing your mobile app you might not go viral right off the bat but you got to be posting consistently making content every single day I committed to posting at least one video every single day on Tik Tok that’s how I found my audience that’s how I found my format that’s how I found my winning creatives that I then later scaled on paid advertising very last thing I want to say about Tik Tok and I want to emphasize this is do not be afraid as a Founder to start doing the marketing yourself I know you know a lot of people come to me and tell me I don’t ever want to do Tik Tok I can’t do it I’m not get in front of camera I promise just trust me follow the market research that you have done around your brand and start making content it doesn’t have to be super complex you know highly producted content you can just make it in your apartment that’s what I did for a ton of my videos in organizing your Tik Tok videos in every video that you post you should have a strong hook a strong storyline or a problem and then present your product as a solution at the end of it and I’m going to go break down a couple videos that I did uh showing exactly that and showing videos that I I literally made in my apartment in 2 minutes but I followed this formula of hook problem storyline and call to action and they generated so many downloads for my app so let’s jump into it I’ll show you a couple right now a couple super easy videos that didn’t take me very long at all to make but they drove insane results to my mobile apps so for example this one I had a comment that I replied to I didn’t know this was in my puff right super simple video just taking a part of puff and then if we go to the end here I have a very quick two second call to action I’m saying this app helps you quit right super easy there’s another one down here I hopped on a trend right this video took me literally 14 seconds to make 102,000 likes this video I literally made in my apartment in less than a minute because I was following a trend on Tik Tok because I did the market research because I knew it was going viral in my Niche this video crushed for me this video has 1.5 million views another good format here is Nick myths right present a problem for people a lot of people think bapes are healthier than cigarettes they’re not right so I spit out the facts here and then at the end of it a quick two second call to action this app helps you quit boom Tik Tok is so much easier than you think don’t be afraid to put yourself out there out there don’t be afraid to take a leap and start making Tik Tok content I promise as a Founder it is one of the most valuable skills you have and even if you want to hire a Creator outside and you don’t end up wanting to do this yourself this is still something that you should know about right you don’t want to be overpaying for bad content you want to understand what content is good and how long it takes to make that content this will make you a better founder overall amazing so now you know how to Market your mobile app you know how to be on social media platforms and again you know I I mentioned Instagram reals here Facebook reals YouTube shorts you can take all your Tik Tok content download it onto your phone and just repost it on all these other platforms it is so easy to post the same short form content video everywhere so I highly recommend you do that but now let’s get into some fun things the pay wall the pay wall is crucial in your mobile app if you’re getting a ton of downloads but no one’s converting on your pay wall or no one’s paying you in your app it doesn’t matter right like downloads mean nothing we want profit before we jump into optimizing your pay wall let’s break down exactly what a pay wall is you’ve all seen these on pretty much every mobile app that you download right so this is the flow that I have for for puff count for my mobile app right we have the welcome we have the sign in here um users you know can create their profile and then we have a quick little onboarding where we we explain the main features of the app itself and then after the onboarding they are shown this pay wall which is essentially a place where we explain the value of the app and the user has a chance to opt into the free trial or for your pay wall maybe you just want them to pay a onetime fee whatever it may be this is the pay wall you’ve seen them on pretty much again every app on the App Store this is exactly what a pay wall is it’s where people pay it’s a wall on your app where people pay so with that being said let’s jump into optimizing yours I’m going to show you the most OP tool in Pay wall development for mobile apps and that tool is called super wall and what super wall is is exactly this you can quickly build and test pay walls without pushing any updates to your app so your developer can help you with this or if you know how to do it you just put in a little piece of code into your mobile app and then boom you will be live on super wall and super wall is amazing I use it all the time here right so I’ll show you all the pay walls that I have been testing super wall allows you to a test different paywalls and you can ab test literally everything from the text up here right you know I have different text uh for example here how much do you puff track how much you smoke track your Puffs track your usage I’m I’m AB testing all this stuff I’m AB testing different buttons and everything and this is how you optimize your onboarding flow into your app and what you want to do is you want to test out different prices to see which one is the most optimal for you for example I have this campaign running right now where I’m testing out the header wording and if we go to our pay walls here uh you can see I’m testing out five different pay walls 20% of the users go to each different pay wall right so it’s a it’s a true AB test here and what super wall will do is they will show you exactly which one is the winner with you know the confidence level here so this one is the 56% winner the header the header text is track how much you smoke so that one is winning by a far margin here so you know this is probably the one that I will end up using on my app full time I highly recommend super wall this is an amazing tool this will make your life optimizing and uh generating the most revenue from your app so much easier and the last thing that I’ll say is hard pay walls are op and what a hard pay wall is there are two types of pay walls right you have a soft pay wall with a little X in the top right corner of your app right but you can also have a hard pay wall where there’s no X and users either have to pay or opt into your free trial to get to the rest of your app I’ve tried the soft pay wall I’m telling you right now the hard pay wall is the way to go it increase my conversion rate by like 30% so I would highly recommend you test out a hard pay wall on your app all right so now we know how to Market our mobile app we know how to make great content for our mobile app and we’ve optimized our pay wall for the most profit possible now we can get into the really fun stuff scaling with paid ads do not be intimidated by scaling with paid ads once you have great organic content on your Tik Tok on your Instagram wherever you’re posting it scaling paid ads becomes so easy so stick around to the end I’ll warn you this is going to be very short and very easy because we’ve already done all of the work here we already have the marketing content that we’re going to upload to paid ads we already have our onboarding flow our app optimized for the pay wall and now simply with paid ads all we have to do is upload our best performing Tik Tok content to paid ads and click run like I’m telling you that’s literally all that I do on Tik Tok ads here if we go to our campaign here you can see that we have spent 3 CPM 11 million impressions right this is how we have scaled with paid acquisition and in the same amount of time we started our ads here on December 1st uh we have done 4,000 on Facebook we’re just kind of getting started on Facebook we definitely want to diversify the uh where we’re getting our our paid traffic from but Tik Tok is just so much better it’s so much cheaper at the moment so we’ve been concentrating most of our spend there but I don’t really have much to say about the paid ads other than you need to test organically first like you need to upload content organically on Tik Tok and you just upload the best performing content to paid ads and click run you don’t really need an ad specialist here I’m going to drop another video breaking down exactly what we do on paid ads and how to optimize these campaigns and how to get you know these special events in here to your paid ads like I said in the previous segment or you can learn from these posts learn what again this this will help you market research for creating organic content you can learn what these creators are doing well maybe hire one that does well in your contest and then work with them for forever whatever you want to do you can do anything and everything you want with this content and the beautiful thing is too each post each submission for your contest will have its own organic lift each one of these creators has to post this content organically on Tik Tok so there’s a chance that one
